Communication exists spread out enough since the Stone Age where our ancestors learned to manipulate cave arts to convey the words. At the date the method was through drawing and caving illustrations into the stone wall. Communication in the Bronze Age reviews first known writing method which is based on the symbol systems. Evolution then taught human to form a community, thus, the first civilization originated in the Sumerians and Mesopotamians. By the lifetime the Egyptians learned to handle papyrus scroll as a writing surface in a form of parchment to tell stories with hieroglyphs. By A.D. 868, Chinese used a carved wooden blocks, pasted together to form a scroll for the first day in the form of printed book (first known dated). Scrolls surely served well in the past. On the other hand things had to alter when the said methods no longer served well in financial exchange purposes. Newspapers, radio, TV broadcasts together form up global communication network. The inte
rnet was invented due to the inadequacy of telephone line"s circuit switching. The invention was designed to provide communications network that would occupation all the more if the sites were to be destroyed by nuclear attack. At the time, internet was only limited to communication between stations due to its machine networking method which was based on the central mainframe method. This led to the solution of many packet switched network solution that would spread the inter-network into global inter-network which would later be called "The Internet". The Internet spread under the thought that the network is owned by no single person. Outside universities and research laboratories usage, internet content started to contain non-education related following its availability. Eventually, the rise of search engines was a bold issue when the gopher became WWW. The agricultural era had ended when there was only low cost to be paid for reaching millions worldwide. Business on the web such as web marketing, web design and development, graphics design are all grand fruits of doing business transaction on the web. The network growth in Ireland has tripled its volume from 13% in first quarter of 2006 to 31% in the same quarter in 2007. In 2007, 57% of Irish households had access to the internet at home. This was higher than the EU27 average of 54% in the same period. With this growth of internet usage, marketing on the web seems very promising. popularity and value as the Internet is becoming the most popular and effective form of advertising and communication between businesses and consumers.
